What are PVC Boats? (sometimes referred to as PVC Pipe Boats)

PVC Boats are essentially rafts, constructed of a bunch of PVC pipes tied together, with a plastic or wood framework floor (sometimes with a pilot compartment) and steering equipment fastened on top.

They come in all shapes and sizes, and are used primarily for maritime activities, such as fishing, net casting/net throwing, or even for one's leisure.

On the internet, people post blogs and youtube videos describing DIY (Do-it-yourself) projects where they build their own PVC Boats. There are many amazing DIY project guides available for people who want to take PVC Boat building up as a hobby.

As you can see, building a PVC Boat can be a simple, yet sophisticated undertaking.   The goal of this project is to learn about the various designs and eventually, build a PVC Boat of our own.
